When it comes to running your own business it can be hard to accept that sometimes, you have to ask for help. Whether it’s bringing in a designer to work on your brand, hiring an agency to help with advertising or hiring a virtual assistant to assist with day to day admin – asking for help can make you feel as though you’re not doing everything you can to grow your own business.
Whilst for some that may be the case, in most instances it’s quite the opposite as getting to the point where you need to hire assistance means you’re definitely doing things right. It should be something you’re proud of and a stage of your business you welcome with open arms when it arrives.
Knowing when to ask for help is a little trickier. Should you do it when you find you’re running out of time on a daily basis? When you have extra money to invest in your website? Or when you notice you’re struggling with certain tasks?
Whilst we’d like to advise you on all of the above, this blog post is going to focus on the signs it’s time for you to hire an advertising agency;
1. You’re Not Seeing Any Progress With Your Current Marketing
If you have been working on your marketing for a couple of years and you’re not seeing any significant progress, it may be time to start thinking about hiring an advertising agency. They’ll be able to look at your business and the marketing you have been doing, advising you of the best possible route to take. If needed, they’ll also be able to implement everything for you.
2. You Don’t Have The Time To Focus On Marketing
If you no longer have the time to put into your business’ marketing, hiring an agency to help may be the best possible solution. They’ll be able to do all of the tasks you no longer have time for, ensuring business resumes as normal (or improves based on their recommendations).
3. You’re Planning A Big Campaign
If you’re planning a big marketing campaign and you don’t think you have the time or manpower to pull it off, an agency will definitely be able to help. They’ll be able to help you plan and carry out the campaign in the most effective way, reporting on how successful it was once it’s over.
4. You’ve Never Done Any Marketing Before
If you have never done any marketing before you probably don’t know the first place to start, right?
Hiring a marketing agency is a great way to get an introduction to marketing, and know you’re leaving your business in good hands. They’ll do everything they need to ensure you are set up in terms of marketing, so should you need to take over you’ll have everything you need. Whilst this may be the most expensive route, it’s beneficial for those that don’t know where to begin.
